Alcione Gonzalez began her career working for WNBC at 30 Rock, where she learned the fast-paced environment of broadcast production. In 2013, she sharpened her producing skills at Fusion Media Group, working alongside veteran TV journalist Jorge Ramos. There, she produced high-profile interviews with notable figures such as President Bill Clinton, Barbara Walters, Anthony Bourdain, and Senator Ted Cruz. She also covered major international and domestic stories, including the 2014 youth migrant crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border and in-depth looks into Puerto Rico's political and social landscape.
Transitioning into investigative documentary work as part of the show The Naked Truth on Fusion TV and Netflix, Alcione was part of the only American television producing team granted access to the 2016 Panama Papers, a groundbreaking leak from Panamanian financial firm Mossack Fonseca. Her award-winning projects while producing for The Naked Truth include impactful investigations into the U.S. voting system, federal police statistics, and America's juvenile justice system.
In 2021, she spent a year and a half producing Shadowland, a six-episode documentary series about conspiratorial thinking. The series was directed by award-winning director Joe Berlinger in collaboration with Radical Media and The Atlantic's investigative team. It is currently streaming on peacock.

In 2022, she produced an unscripted viral YouTube series called Vice Debates for Vice Media Group. The YouTube series sparked important conversations on topics like feminism, racial and cultural identity in America.
She has also demonstrated her editorial and interview skills by casting for ABC and Hulu's The Great Christmas Light Fight and The Free Press 2024 election coverage. She recently completed field producing Season 2 of Leguizamo Does America, a six-episode unscripted travel & culture series hosted by John Leguizamo showcasing America's thriving Latino communities. The series is set to premiere in Spring 2025 on MSNBC and stream on peacock.
Alcione's work has earned multiple awards and nominations, including a 2017 RFK Human Rights Domestic TV Award and an Emmy nomination. She has worked with leading media companies, including Radical Media, Univision, Fusion Media Group, NBC News Studios, ABC, Hulu, MSNBC, peacock, ITV America, Vice Media Group, The Free Press, and CNN.

Additionally, Alcione has experience producing social media and digital video marketing content as a video producer for PR/Marketing agency, rbb Communications. Her clients while working there included Hilton Hotels, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Florida Power & Light, and Florida International University. She has also recently produced content for commercial clients like Caress Body Wash and IKEA.
She serves as the lead organizer of The Video Consortium Miami, where she coordinates a variety of events for the VC Miami community, including screenings, workshops, and community gatherings. Additionally, she acts as the communications lead for the VC Miami community, collaborating closely with The Video Consortium's corporate team to develop messaging and foster strategic community partnerships. She is passionate about bringing people together in this role. What fuels her work is the joy of empowering Miami's vibrant visual storytelling community—seeing artists grow, ideas flourish, and stories come to life is what makes it all worthwhile.
Born in London, UK, and based in Miami, Florida, Alcione holds a master's degree from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism and a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami. Go Canes! 🙌🏽

When she's not producing, Alcione enjoys staying active, paddle boarding, cooking and spending quality time with her husband and their two beloved dogs.
